Jotunheimen National Park
Vassbakken is located at the entrance to Jotunheimen National Park. Here you will find the highest mountains in Norway, the three highest peaks, Galdhøpiggen (2469 m), Glittertind (approx. 2465 m) and Store Skagastølstind (2405 m). Jotunheimen is a very popular hiking area both summer and winter, and here you will find a large network of marked hiking trails in all categories. Ask at the reception for tips on hiking.
