Urnes Stave Church
A short drive along the Lustrafjord, and you will reach Urnes Stave Church, the oldest and best preserved of the stave churches (ca. 1130). You can learn more about the stave church at the exhibition in the visitor center. The stave church at Urnes was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1979.
